-291- Happy Leap Day!

I don't always read the grocery ads, which would have been okay in this case, since the product was one which Justin works with everyday. Nabisco snack crackers were on sale at Albertson's, but the limit was 3, so I stocked up on a couple of favorites.

-290- Twice the Protein of Regular Yogurt...

My mid-morning snack today was this pomegranate Greek yogurt. It is plain Greek yogurt with some pomegranate flavoring and seeds at the bottom. I took a picture of it because it reminded me of Rebekah and our trip to Greece, as well as the fact that she loves pomegranate seeds. I agree, they are tasty - but a bit annoying in yogurt!

Apparently today was just another Monday, because I didn't take a picture!

-288- Comfort Food

Tonight for dinner I made what I remember to be one of my dad's favorite dinners: ground beef with potatoes, eaten with tortillas. It is so simple, but very hearty, and it reminds me of home.

-287- Sticky

There is a hibachi and sushi restaurant near us that we've been wanting to try, so tonight we went with some friends and tried the hibachi. The show was really great, but it was a little pricey for the amount of food we got. I would have to say that it was very close to the quality of Fuji's in Abilene. I haven't had Fuji's in so long, and I have only had this place once, so I really couldn't say which is better.

Oh, and to explain the picture: I got steamed rice, which came in a little bowl and stayed in its shape when I turned it over onto my plate. The chopsticks (which I did not use) stood up well in it for this photo opp.

-286- Trophy Winner

I had to leave work early yesterday for an appointment in the late afternoon, and when I got back to the office this morning, this is what I found sitting on my desk - a personalized trophy for "1st Place in Awesomeness." The people I work with are so goofy! I guess that's what I get for being away from my desk for an extended period of time.

It's been rather warm lately, so we've turned on the A/C. It's weird because at this time last year it was still really cold!
